Terms and Standards:
To apply for the scholarship, the applicant must be a student currently enrolled in an officially recognized college or university or university. Students who are not currently enrolled but have been accepted to attend may be eligible if they are enrolled in a college or university.
To qualify for a scholarship, eligible students must write a 500-word essay detailing that their communities have influenced their choices in life, including what to study, what university/college they should attend, and what career they will pursue after graduation.

- How did your community influence your decision to pursue your field of study?
- How did you connect directly with your community, and what positive results were achieved as a result?
- What three lessons did you learn as a result of these connections, and how do you expect them to help you in the future?
- What lessons can you offer to others in your community to help them on their way to higher education?
- How do you expect to connect with your community after graduation when you begin your career?
- Do you have any advice for others who want to connect with their community?
- Are there any specific areas where your community could improve its ability to help others achieve success in higher education and/or professional development?
Scholarship Features:
The scholarship recipient will receive a one-time tuition grant of $2,000 (USD) to be applied towards qualification expenses, including undergraduate/graduate tuition, fees, books, on-campus room and board.
